The Dare Community Housing Task Force is excited to share that a research team from East Carolina University (ECU) has initiated a survey aimed at evaluating workforce housing challenges within the Dare County community. This important project is spearheaded by Dr. Misun Hur, an Associate Professor in Community and Regional Planning, alongside Dr. Emily P. Yeager, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies.
The survey seeks to gather valuable insights from residents to better understand the housing needs and obstacles faced by the workforce in the area. Community participation is crucial, as the findings will help inform local housing strategies and initiatives.
Residents are encouraged to complete the survey before the deadline on April 1. This is a unique opportunity for community members to voice their experiences and contribute to the development of effective housing solutions. The Dare Community Housing Task Force believes that by working together, the community can enhance the quality of life for all its residents.
