A total of 220 residential properties closed in Alexandria during May, according to data released June 10 by MarketStats by ShowingTime, which draws on figures from Bright. That number is up from 206 closings recorded in May 2025.

The rise in sales was accompanied by an increase in average prices, though the report did not specify the exact dollar figure. The combination of more transactions and higher prices drove the overall sales volume higher, marking a notable rebound for the local market.
