The future site of multimillion-dollar homes in Dallas' Knox-Henderson area remains an active construction zone, and nearby residents are not happy about the conditions. Neighbors have voiced concerns over dust, noise, and safety hazards they say have persisted for months without adequate response from developers.
The project, which promises high-end residences in one of Dallas' most sought-after neighborhoods, has become a source of friction. Locals report that heavy machinery operates early in the morning and late into the evening, disrupting what was once a quiet residential street. Dust from the site coats nearby cars and patios, and some worry about structural vibrations affecting older homes nearby.
"We are not against development," one resident said. "But there has to be a balance. Right now, it feels like the neighborhood is being treated like an industrial zone."
City officials have received multiple complaints, and some neighbors have called for stricter enforcement of construction hours and dust control measures. The developer has not issued a public statement, but sources close to the project say they are working to address the concerns.
For now, the tension highlights a growing challenge in Dallas: how to manage rapid urban development without alienating the people who already call these neighborhoods home.
