Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have assembled a real estate collection that most billionaires would envy, with multimillion-dollar compounds stretching from the Pacific to the Atlantic. The couple, who went public with their relationship in early 2019, now own properties that serve as private retreats, business hubs, and family gathering spots.
Their most famous purchase is the $165 million Warner estate in Beverly Hills, which they bought in 2020. That sprawling mansion sits on nearly nine acres and was once owned by the Warner brothers of Hollywood fame. But it is just one piece of a much larger puzzle.
On the East Coast, Bezos owns several apartments in Manhattan's Century Tower, a luxury building where he has spent over $80 million combining units into a single massive residence. He also owns a penthouse in the same building, purchased separately. In Washington, D.C., the couple bought the historic Textile Museum building for $23 million in 2016, converting it into a private home with a library, wine cellar, and underground parking.
The crown jewel, however, is their newest project: a $90 million estate on Indian Creek Island in Miami, often called "Billionaire Bunker." They purchased two adjacent lots and demolished the existing homes to build a modern compound with a private dock, pool, and guest houses. The move to Miami also signals a shift in Bezos' business focus, as Amazon and Blue Origin operations expand in Florida.
Beyond the mainland, they own a 417-acre ranch in Texas, where Bezos' space company Blue Origin launches rockets. That property includes a private airstrip and a massive hangar. They also have a penthouse in New York's 212 Fifth Avenue, bought for $58 million in 2019.
What stands out is not just the price tags, but the strategy. Each property serves a purpose: a West Coast base for entertainment deals, an East Coast hub for politics and finance, and a southern retreat for family and space ventures. As their wealth grows, so does their footprint, and there are no signs of slowing down.
