TORONTO, June 22, 2026 - Firm Capital Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust announced today that its Board of Trustees has approved and signed a binding undertaking related to the Trust's Incentive Unit Option Plan.
The decision follows feedback from unitholders regarding the re-approval of the Plan, which is being sought at the Trust's upcoming annual and special meeting. The Undertaking is meant to address those concerns directly.
Under the terms of the binding commitment, the Trust has agreed to specific conditions tied to the administration of the Plan. The Board stated that the move reflects a willingness to align the Trust's compensation practices with the interests of its investors.
The annual and special meeting is expected to include a vote on the Plan's re-approval. Unitholders will have the opportunity to review the full details of the Undertaking in the meeting materials.
