San Diego philanthropist and real estate veteran Ernie Hahn has brought his business to Douglas Elliman Realty, teaming up with his partner Richelle Jett. The pair, known in the industry as "Ernie and the Jett," will operate out of Douglas Elliman's Del Mar office. Their move is expected to add significant strength to the brokerage's presence in the region.
Hahn has long been a recognizable figure in San Diego, not only for his work in high-end residential sales but also for his community involvement. He has supported local charities and civic initiatives over the years, building a reputation that extends beyond real estate transactions. Jett brings her own track record in luxury property marketing, and together they have handled some of the area's most notable listings.
Douglas Elliman, one of the largest residential brokerages in the country, continues to expand its footprint in Southern California. The addition of the Hahn-Jett team aligns with that strategy, as the company looks to attract top-producing agents who can serve affluent clients. The Del Mar office, already a hub for coastal luxury sales, will now have a stronger team focused on that market segment.
For Hahn and Jett, the move represents a chance to tap into Douglas Elliman's national resources while maintaining their local focus. They plan to continue emphasizing personalized service for sellers and buyers in San Diego's competitive luxury sector.
