The Western Massachusetts real estate market remained active in the final week of February, with several significant residential transactions recorded across Franklin County.
In Charlemont, a key commercial-residential property at 72 Main Street changed hands. Gregory C. and Gabriela F. Rowehl sold the address to Berkshire Equity LLC for a sum of $330,000. Elsewhere in the town, a residential sale was finalized at 2167 Route 2. The property, sold by the estate of Carl F. Elliott and Karen A. Kagan, was purchased by Christina Bell for $275,000.
Neighboring Conway also registered a sale. The estate of Cynthia A. Racicot and Garrett Loomis transferred ownership of the residence at 14 River Street to buyer Benjamin Hoysradt for $305,000. Deerfield saw activity as well, with Henry Whitlock completing a sale to Ashley. These transactions highlight continued buyer interest in the varied housing stock of the region, from village centers to rural routes. The sales prices reflect a steady market for single-family homes and mixed-use properties in the area.
