Queens tenants rally ahead of Housing Court hearing to demand repairs from real estate firm

Tenants from a residential building in Elmhurst gathered Monday morning to protest what they described as a years-long pattern of neglect from their landlord, A&E Real Estate. The rally took place just hours before a scheduled Housing Court hearing, where residents hope to force the company to address a long list of unresolved maintenance issues.

Residents reported chronic problems including broken elevators, persistent mold, rodent infestations, and inadequate heat during winter months.
